Farrah Leni was an American actress, model and painter. Her role in "The Apostle," was a major hit for her. In Corpus Christi Texas she started her career as a commercial actor. She had her first film performance with a tiny supporting part in the French feature film Love is a Funny Thing. The film gained her international fame due to the famous red swimsuit poster, which was the most popular pin-up poster ever. The role of the private detective she played in the crime series Charlie's Angels was highly praised. Three female actors worked for Los Angeles' private detective agency. Apart from her glamorous parts, she's also well-known for her dramatic performances like the one of a battered spouse on the TV film 'The Burning Bed'. She was listed at 26 in TV Guide's list of the "50 most famous TV stars of all-time'. Her diagnosis was anal cancer in the age of 59, and she died within three years.
