Linda Edna's parents are businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). She was born at Redwood City in California. She is Italian by descent from her father's grandfather. She is Irish through her mother, German, English, Scottish as well as German. Linda grew in San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest from four children. At the age of 10 she became attracted to acting after performing in school plays. Her next stage was performing at school and community theatre. Linda studied at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After graduating, she had to make a decision about whether she wanted to go into New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. She went to LA. Linda was first cast as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). Her first big break came when she was cast in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) is better known under the stage name Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her career began as an British actress in Just William (2010), which was a British show on British television. Cinderella (2015) was her first feature film, following the role she was the lead actress in the role of Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, a time-based drama. James then played the role of Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016, and was in several movies. This includes the action movie Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 earned her Golden Globes and Primetime Emmy Awards.
