Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. She started by releasing humorous, cleverly written music that tackled questions of racial identity as well as sexual orientation. She then expanded her fan base to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living who resided in Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was through the instrument of trumpet. After classical and Jazz training She delved into hip-hop in her teen years. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even studying Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. After graduating, she began to focus on music. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included in her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album featured other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. This track was directly linked into another venture Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in the year 2015. With musician and author on her resume she determined to pursue an actor for a third venture. She has appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough roles included Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP In Fina We Trust.
